"World's Most Beautiful Transsexual Pageant" telah diadakan di Riviera Convention Center di Las Vegas. Pageant ni ada 4 kategori: Creative, Swimsuit, Evening Gown dan Talent. And the winner is: The "Blonde Bombshell," Mimi Marks dari Chicago!

We do not think all gay people are better than all straight people. We, in fact, do not think all gay people are anything. (Or all straight people, for that matter.) These are just some general observations. So please, lighten up.

1) When we have kids it’s because we really want them.
Goodness knows we all hear about those silly “breeders” who practice unsafe sex and then get a “surprise” one day. Gay people don’t have it so easy. When we want to have children there’s always a third party (be it a test-tube, a surrogate, an adoption agency, etc.), adding to the already great challenge of deciding to become a mother or a father. We’re not saying it makes us better parents, but… OK, that’s what we’re saying.

2) We have better style.
If we didn’t, would there have been a Queer Eye for the Straight Guy? We think not. And given that most celebrated male fashion designers bat for our team, we rest our case.

3) We set the trends.
How else can you explain us wearing $500 designer jeans years before they were popular? And where would metrosexuality be if we hadn’t been getting ourselves plucked and waxed for eons? These may not be good things, but still, we were there first.

4) We take better care of ourselves.
You know you walked into your 10-year high school reunion with more hair, fewer wrinkles, less fat, and better fashion than any other guy in your class. Be proud.

5) When it comes to partying, we do it up right.
Every straight gal pal of yours (and some of your hetero guy friends too) tells you they have more fun at a gay club than they do at a straight club. And naturally most of the hottest party planners are queer. It’s because we’re more fun. No really, we are.

6) We are devoted.
Be good to us, we’ll be good to you. No matter the generation, we stick with our divas (see Judy, Barbra, Bette, Madonna). And, hey, we’re brand loyal too!

7) Watch out for our wit.
Growing up as outsiders (to one degree or another) forces us to be verbally fast on our feet. So be nice, or a cutting remark will slice you down to size.

Okay, kali nie I nak bawak uols meneliti satu pertandingan Beauty Pageant yang menarik. Ok, dia memang unik pasal dia melibatkan contestant yang bertanding secara berpasangan. Ok, itu tak berapa unik lagi. Yang nak membuatkan dia nih menarik sangat ialah: dia disertai secara berpasangan antara Lelaki & Fonen Drag... !! Huh? Terkesimakan uols!! Gerrent... mari kita mendekati pertandingan luar biasa nie secara lagi lanjut. Mana tau uols terasa nak join bawak laki uols tuh.....

HISTORY:
The Mr. & Miss Asian Pacific Alliance Pageant was first established in 1997 for the following reasons: to promote fun, friendship, diversity, and cultural awareness; to encourage Asians and Pacific Islanders (APIs), as well as non-Asians, in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community to participate, so as to develop self-confidence, poise, talent, and leadership; to seek individuals who will represent a positive image of APANY and the Asian Pacific community; and to raise funds for the Asian Pacific Alliance of New York (APANY).

RULES, DUTIES AND OBLIGATIONS:
The Pageant is open to all Asians and Pacific Islanders (APIs) of good standing in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community. The Pageant is open to non-Asians as well, provided they are committed to serving the API community. There are no race, age, height, or weight requirements. Each candidate must represent a particular Asian nation or a Pacific Island in the National Costume / Fantasy Segment.

CRITERIA:
The Pageant has four (4) categories for judging, which determine the selection of Mr. & Miss Asian Pacific Alliance: (a) National/Fantasy Costume (Asia or Pacific Island); (b) Leisure/Swim Wear (e.g., swimsuit, undergarment, sportswear); (c) Evening/Formal Wear; and (d) Interview. Special Awards are given to the highest score in each of the four categories (e.g., Best in National Costume). There is NO Talent Category. (Entertainment is provided by guest performers.) Judging is overall, based on personality, poise, style, presentation, creativity, originality, self-confidence, intelligence, sincerity, and commitment. All costumes (national/fantasy, leisure/swim, and formal/evening) may be ethnic, traditional, modern, symbolical, mythological, fantasy, or futuristic (candidates are encouraged to be creative!). In the Interview category, each candidate answers one simple interview question submitted by a judge, with an interpreter provided if needed.

      (Men first, then Ladies - in alphabetical order by nation/island
      (i.e., China, India, Japan, etc.).  Each candidate gives a short introduction about him/"her,"

SUGGESTION:

A candidate may visit a local library or travel agencies and look at books and brochures for costume ideas. They need not be authentic, just creative. Again, the costume may be ethnic, traditional, modern, symbolical, mythological, fantasy, or futuristic. Be creative, inventive, and imaginative!

Haa... nie lah video dia untuk di enjoy. Citer jer tak guna, sendiri tengok lah.

Well.... macam biasa lah. jadi manusia nih mana ade pernah puas. especially dalam bab bercinta nih. Dah berape lama I hidup sebagai 'sexy single' (hehehe... sexy ke mak?). i pun dah lupe bape lama hidup macam nih. But now, everything's changed...

Well, I layankan je lah. Lagi pun bukan ade modal nak citer apa malam tuh. Tapi tiba-tiba dia boleh tanya sama ada I sayang dia atau tak. Hmm.... tricky question, tapi I cakap jer sayang. Then, dia cakap dia tak tau kenapa, dia dah jatuh hati ngan I. Well... surprised lah jugak (eleh, surprise bohsia.... kata Emon). Tak sangka gak yang dia sebut ayat kerama tuh... "I LOVE U".

Woo.... dunia macam berhenti sekejap. Rasa macam tak de oksigen langsung masa tuh (still, macam mana boleh bernafas ek?). Dia dah lain macam tengok I, dia ingat I tak suka dia cakap macam tuh... but then, I balas balik "Love Accepted". dia senyum sampai ke telinga. Biasalah, cinta berbalas (eleh, bohsia memang macam tuh... kata Emon lagi... celaka lah ko Emon, dasar fonen laha....).
